Darren Bell
Darren Bell is a breath-takingly talented, multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter who performs straight from the heart. Darren plays guitar, piano, trumpet, and sings, bringing musical passion, raw, straight from the heart. The first time Darren walked into the studio we saw he was destined for a bright career as a musician, and with the support of higher rhythm, he is well on his way.
After recording a 2 song demo and making his first live appearance in 2007, Daz played as part of the first Doncaster Music Week events in 2008, making appearances on BBC raw talent, Doncastre Live summer music festival and supporting the likes of Little Man Tate, the Rascals and Sandi Thom at capacity crowd events.
Darren released his first single 'sometimes' on Circuit Records in September 2008 and gained enough sales to take Circuit Records to number six in the Emusu electronic music distributor chart, sharing placings with the likes of Sigur Ros, EMI backstage (the best of radiohead, the verve and the kooks) and Brian Eno...
In under 3 years, Darren has become a respected regular feature of the local musical scene and is a 'must have' at major musical events.
