Media & Radio Training
Following the launch of our own radio station sine fm in 2007, we now have a wide range choice of courses focussing on the area of media & radio.
It was in response to the huge demand for community focussed media that we developed sine fm, and since its launch, the popularity of the station as well as the community focussed media training that surrounds it has rocketed.
The benefit of studying media & radio related subjects at higher rhythm / sine fm is that in doing so you are involved in a real world experience, connected dierctly to professional industry through a working radio station.
This is also how new presenters, producers, researchers, support workers, volunteers etc... are sourced for the station, therefore providing work based progression for trainees.

Introductory Taster Course
3.5 hour intro session as foundation for progression
NCFE Level 1 Intoduction to Radio Production
includes choice of units covering jingles, production,interviews, presenting
NCFE Level 2 to Radio Production
programme production, running orders, working as part of the station team
