Music Tech covers all subects that are relevant to recording studios and and the production of music; such as microphone techniques, desk architecture, multi-track recording, digital composition, effects, DJ'ing, editing, mixdown, ... you get the idea
Specific music technology focussed courses currently on offer are:
Taster Programme (2 sessions)
The taster programme provides an Introduction to our facilities. Learners will sample course activities and discuss their options with a qualified tutor. Tasters are free of charge and can be booked at the learners convenience.
NCFE Level 1 Introductory Award in Music Technology (8 sessions)
This short course provides learners with the opportunity to explore the uses of Music Technology and provide experiences which will deepen and broaden their musical interests and skills. It is suitable for both young people and adults.

NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Music Technology (30 sessions)
This course includes 5 core units and explores different aspects of Music Technology such as MIDI sequencing, Sound Recording and Podcasting. Learners will work individually and in groups to create a portflio of evidence. It is suitable for both young people and adults.
