10 Apr 2008: second round winners of Demo Showdown announced
In this round of Demo Showdown, we had 2 winners, both very different.
The Torn submited a new demo with a detailed (if not a little too much..) press pack, an effort which impressed the judges. The Torn are a 5 piece guitar band from Doncaster.
The Anderson Council submitted a mini-album of their music, which really stood out of the usual submissions with a jazz electronica edge (reminiscent of Ninja Tune label) with some 'inspired' sleeve art and a witty covering letter. The Anderson Council are a Conisborough based 2 piece group.
