03 Dec 2008: Higher Rhythm & BBC event
The first event of a partnership project between BBC South Yorkshire & Higher Rhythm, where we co-organise and promote key regional music events for up and coming musical artists was a massive success. Thank you to all bands, staff, helpers and especially you the audience for making this a special one.
The event, hosted at the Carling Academy in Sheffiled, featured 6 regional bands, including Skeletons, Dead World Leaders and Skullbone.
A capacity crowd packed the room at the Academy for the event, which was recorded live by Higher Rhythm for BBC broacast.
This event marks the start of what promises to be a positive partnership with the BBC, supporting new music across our region.
