Breakthrough is a competitive artist development programme for music artists from the Yorkshire and Humber region, providing the expert industry support needed to grow new music.

Breakthrough is being delivered by Higher Rhythm with key events through Music Industry Yorkshire, and is funded by Help Musicians UK, as part of their National Grants Programme with part match funding through, Arts Council England.

Through the programme, we will support a limited original music artists (of any genre) to progress with their professional music careers, by providing free expert support which includes mentoring, live showcases, recording, music releases, radio sessions and master classes.
