Higher Rhythm offers music and media taster sessions

Our Music and Media taster taster sessions are for people interested in learning more about these exciting industries or who may want to pursue a career in the sectors.

The UK’s creative industries contribute over £101.5billion to the economy, according to the Creative Industries Federation. This means the sector makes up +5% of the economy as a whole demonstrating that this is a vibrant sector with lots of opportunities for careers.

What happens in the taster session?

• Induction and tour of Higher Rhythm / Sine FM
• An introduction to relevant industries and associated tech (recording studios / radio station)
• Explore recording or radio broadcasting (depending on chosen route)
• Discuss progression routes onto our other programmes
