Higher Rhythm is a Trinity College London Champion Centre.

This status underpins our programme of Arts Awards which we deliver for young people from #Doncaster and South Yorkshire.

Higher Rhythm has delivered hundreds of arts awards over the past years. Since, we introduced new blended programmes in 2020, covering songwriting, music production and radio presenting, demand has sharply risen. Recognised as a Trinity College London Champion Centre, quality learning provision is guaranteed.

Through progressing through the five levels of an Arts Award, young people get to:

  • Discover the enjoyment of creating and participating in arts activities.
  • Experience arts events.
  • Develop creative and communication skills that are essential for success in 21st century life.
  • Explore the work of artists and craftspeople and gain insights into the professional arts world.
  • Gain experience and knowledge to help progress into further education and employment.

There are no entry requirementsno time limit for completing the award, and no set rules on how to present final work. We also deliver arts awards at different levels including, discover, explore, bronze and silver awards. This structured means where we can set awards according to age and ability.
