We’re excited to announce that after our successful ‘Breakthrough’ music artist development programme, which ran from 2015 – 2016, we will be working with Help Musicians UK again from 2017 to 2020 to deliver another, more in depth, artist support programme across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Successfully applying to the HMUK National Grants Programme, an initiative aimed at creating opportunities for and empowering musicians in their careers, and part funding the new project using resources funded by Arts Council England we will deliver the Breakthrough Artist Development Programme 2017 – 2020.

This programme of ‘holistic’ support for emerging musicians from Yorkshire & Humber will include recording opportunities, mentoring, clinics on professional practice and performance opportunities at showcase gigs.

Just like its predecessor, Breakthrough 2015, this new programme will be a competitive programme and is FREE to enter for emerging music artists from the Yorkshire region who don’t currently have a recording or publishing contract.
