Arts Council England NPO investment supports the work of Higher Rhythm, helping us, broadly to:
Arts Council England are the national development agency for creativity and culture. By 2030 they aim for England to be a country in which the creativity of each of us is valued and given the chance to flourish and where everyone of us has access to a remarkable range of high quality cultural experiences.
As an NPO, Arts Council England also committed capital investment of £116k from March 2020 to our organisation, under their Small Capital Programme. This continues vital refurbishment of our premises towards providing a high quality arts experience for future participants in our programmes.
From October 2020 to March 2021 we also secured £51,784 from the Culture Recovery Fund. In April 2021 we secured £29984 from the Culture Recovery Fund for the period up to the end of June 2021. This will allow to restructure and rebuild specific activities amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically we are developing our online programmes so that people can continue to access the creative activities that Higher Rhythm offer.
