Volunteering Futures : Sound Opportunities

Sound Opportunities is our 23 month project, funded through Volunteering Futures. The project enables local people to get involved in volunteering activities across our full range of music and creative media services.

This includes including participating in activities through our radio station and music recording studio.

The project will create more and better volunteering opportunities for people in Doncaster. It also aims to engage with people experience barriers to volunteering or who currently have limited access to the kinds of activities we offer.

Additional to new participants coming to us directly, we work with community partners who refer local people into the project. This helps to overcome barriers to participation, and builds greater links with local communities.

Sound opportunities is funded through DCMS’s Volunteering Futures programme delivered by Arts Council England.
