Purpose of the position
To support the education, supervision and care for students in college, assisting with the promotion of the highest levels of achievement by providing high quality learning support to those students identified as being in need.
Successful candidates will have a background in music, and/or music technology and be strong, confident and positive in their approach to behaviour management.
Key Objectives
In this role, you are expected to: Assist the lead tutor in the raising of attainment by ensuring that all learners have equal opportunity to achieve their full potential. Support a high level of learner engagement through shared planning and delivering the curriculum. Provide care and support for all learners to ensure their safety and wellbeing. Assist in the provision of a welcoming, stimulating environment. Contribute to the development of confident, caring learners who show a sense of responsibility and pride in themselves and the college. Work well in a team environment and demonstrate resilience. Promote positive behaviours to build self-esteem of the children and young people to support them in fulfilling their potential.
Rate
£23541 pro rata at 2 days weekly
